Intervention (RtII and MTSS)

The reauthorization of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act in 2004 (IDEA 2004) focused national attention on growing successful practice in the general education classroom.  Response to Intervention and Instruction, or RtII, was a tool created to assess and work with struggling learners as a preventative measure.  It provides high-quality instruction that is matched to student needs.  Read more
